How do you choose the right booking system for your campsite?
There are dozens of booking systems for campsites. From simple calendar plugins to complete enterprise solutions. How do you choose the right one?
Here are the most important points to look out for when choosing a booking system for your campsite:
1. Fits your size — A system with unlimited pitches and fifty features is not necessarily better. Choose what suits your campsite. For a small campsite, simplicity matters most.
2. White-label — Guests should see your campsite, not the system behind it. Choose a system where you can use your own domain, logo and colours.
3. Integrations — Does it work with your barrier? Can guests pay online through your own Mollie account? Is there a widget for your own website and a link with Campercontact? These are concrete options to discuss together; not every system offers them as standard.
4. Price — Don't just look at the package price, but also at the costs that come on top, such as transaction fees or setup fees. With Camping-Beheer you pay a package price per month; Mollie charges its own processing fees on top, and usage can be billed separately.
5. Support — If something goes wrong, you want help quickly. Choose a system where you can speak to someone who knows your situation.
6. Future-proof — The system should grow with you. Can you add extra pitches later, or connect a barrier? And what arrangements apply if you want to switch?
At Camping-Beheer we think along on these points, but we don't claim to be the best at everything. Compare for yourself and choose what suits your campsite best.
